Men Weren’t Meant To Ride With Clouds Between Their Knees

Someone I used to love very dearly told me to listen to this song, particularly the lyrics.  I couldn’t understand it at first but he said to put myself in Superman’s shoes and think for a moment how he feels.  Once I did that, everything made sense.  This is one of my all time favourite songs.

Superman | Performed by Five For Fighting

Guess who crossed my mind when I happened to hear this song again a few days back?

Yeah, there may be plenty of things he’s shouldering as Jung Yonghwa and leader of CNBLUE but he’s not letting it show to us fans, yeah? Those anti comments, people questioning his sincerity about almost everything he does and the like…sigh..

totally off topic, T_T, but what do you think of this line: “I’m only a man in a funny red sheet”.

funny red sheet…. it might just be words thrown in there to rhyme with the melody or the rest of the lyrics and whatnots, but somehow i think it’s more than that.

the first image came up was Superman’s red suit, but idk. care to join this silly me?

Yes, I agree. It’s Superman’s red suit 🙂 Even the lines, ‘pretty face beside a train’ is talking about Superman isn’t it? I just think the lyrics are trying to say how difficult it is to be a ‘Superman’. As usual, I’m thinking of YY, though I think he loves ‘flying’.
