Someone I used to love very dearly told me to listen to this song, particularly the lyrics. I couldn’t understand it at first but he said to put myself in Superman’s shoes and think for a moment how he feels. Once I did that, everything made sense. This is one of my all time favourite songs.

funny red sheet…. it might just be words thrown in there to rhyme with the melody or the rest of the lyrics and whatnots, but somehow i think it’s more than that.

Yes, I agree. It’s Superman’s red suit 🙂 Even the lines, ‘pretty face beside a train’ is talking about Superman isn’t it? I just think the lyrics are trying to say how difficult it is to be a ‘Superman’. As usual, I’m thinking of YY, though I think he loves ‘flying’.
